How WE WORK
Our time together is a collaboration. A team journeying towards a shared objective which is to meet your therapy hopes.
I trust and respect in your right to be the unique, autonomous individual that you are this means that our time together is centred around only the parts of your story that you would like to bring forward, share, and explore. Your time, your choice, and at your pace.
I work in a way that offers:
– honesty, acceptance, and warmth
– empathetic understanding and relating
– a confidential, non-sterile, relaxed, and calm space
– an environment free from judgement or threat (there is absolutely no place in therapy for these!)
You are the only ‘expert’ on yourself and your inner world. My role is to come alongside you to explore what is going on that is causing difficulties or distress. I work with emotions and feelings to attend to your emotional wellbeing which is believed to promote positive mental health and wellbeing.
Humans are beautifully individualistic and so too are their therapy journeys. This means that there is no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ ways in our time together. My hope is that we can establish a strong connection based on honesty, trust, and transparency to work towards your therapeutic goals.
