Experiences from my past sparked a flame leading me towards wanting to support others. This means that the ebbs and flows of my own life have shaped my practice and enabled me to connect with people at depth. Once ignited, my passion towards the therapy profession has and continues to burn bright. To be the best for you, I attend regular supervision, and personal therapy, and am committed to accessing courses to add depth to my professional knowledge and development.

How WE WORK
Our time together is a collaboration. A team journeying towards a shared objective which is to meet your therapy goals.
I trust and respect your right to be the unique, autonomous individual that you are and this means that our time together is centred around only the parts of your story that you would like to bring forward, share, and explore. Your time, your choice, and at your pace.
I work in a way that offers:
– honesty, acceptance, and warmth
– empathetic understanding and relating
– a confidential, non-sterile, relaxed, and calm space
– an environment free from judgement or threat (there is absolutely no place in therapy for these!)
You are the only ‘expert’ on yourself and your inner world. My role is to come alongside you to explore what is going on that is causing difficulties or distress. I work with emotions and feelings to attend to your emotional wellbeing which is believed to promote positive mental health and wellbeing.
Humans are beautifully individualistic and so too are their therapy journeys. This means that there are no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ ways in our time together. My hope is that we can establish a strong connection based on honesty, trust, and transparency to work towards your therapeutic hopes.
